About Us
Established in year 1970, the China Hong Kong Professional Golfers’ Association (China HKPGA) is dedicated to advancing professional golf in Hong Kong through the organization of tournaments and the provision of high-quality instruction for our members.
Since 2002, we have implemented a comprehensive two-year trainee program with stringent qualification requirements, ensuring that our members uphold the highest standards of professionalism and skill in the game.
Each year, the China HKPGA proudly hosts 10 official tournaments at various courses across Hong Kong. These tournaments offer our members invaluable competitive experience, with the top two finishers on the Order of Merit earning coveted spots in the prestigious Hong Kong Open, an International Series event on the Asian Tour.
As a non-profit organization, all income generated by the China HKPGA is reinvested into the enhancement of professional golf in Hong Kong, furthering our mission to promote and develop the sport.
With a current membership of 172 professionals and 27 trainees, the China HKPGA continues to grow and thrive, cementing its position as a leading authority in professional golf within Hong Kong.
